TIE ROPE 148 cm (total length) is the long version of Nordic Liberty’s horse tie rope, developed for those who need flexibility in both the stable and while traveling. The extra length provides space for tying up at a tie rail or in a grooming stall. The built-in D-ring makes the rope practical when you want to shorten it or tie it somewhere other than a standard ring.

The D-ring makes it possible to shorten the rope if needed, or to attach it to, for example, a stall bar or rail when you don't have access to a tie ring, such as at horse shows, camps, or while traveling. Only tie to a solid anchor point capable of holding a horse that pulls back.

In the upper part, closest to the horse, the rope is reinforced with a 20 cm layer of heavy-duty material. Below this is our extra safety buckle, which you release by hand if the horse panics and pulls back. The distance is designed so you can reach the buckle without getting your fingers caught between the halter, carabiner, and the horse.

The rope is made of the same silicone-coated material as Nordic Liberty’s lead ropes, making it easy to keep clean and resistant to water and mud. At the carabiner, there is a silicone disc that prevents the horse from turning its head and biting the carabiner, and which dampens the sound when the carabiner hits the wall or tie point. At the other end is a 360° rotating carabiner that is easy to attach to eyelets in a stall or trailer. All buckles are made of aluminum, which keeps the weight significantly lower than traditional chains. A difference that is noticeable for the horse, which often has to stand tied for longer periods during preparation.

Developed as a system with the HALTER series

The breaking points in the HALTER series (100–160 kg) are intentionally lower than the rope’s, so the load is not transferred to the tie-up itself. TIE ROPE can also be used with other halters. In such cases, please be aware of the specific halter's breaking strength. With its stylish design, TIE ROPE matches the rest of the Nordic Liberty collection.

The safety buckle is released manually and does not pop open by itself. TIE ROPE is developed to minimize the risk of injury, but it cannot eliminate it.
