The HALTER series from Nordic Liberty has been developed with a focus on safety, comfort, and function in daily use. The series includes two generations of our lightweight and safety halters, designed with the same basic principle: stable fit and comfort, a secure break system, and well-thought-out materials.

What size halter should I choose?
HALTER 1.0 is available in COB, FULL, and X-FULL.
HALTER 2.0 is available in PONY, COB, and FULL.
The sizes follow standard measurements, so you can choose the size your horse normally wears.
The halters have good adjustment options on both sides of the poll strap for an optimal fit.

How do security breakpoints work?
The safety breakpoints in the HALTER series are designed to trigger under strong pulling force (approx. 100–160 kg depending on size). This reduces the risk of injury if the horse gets stuck.
There are 4 breakpoints on each halter. If triggered, the straps can be replaced, extending the product's lifespan.
The halter is designed for daily use in the stable, stall, trailer, and paddock.

The HALTER 1.0 is not recommended for use with hay nets.
Can the halters withstand halter-play?
Yes - the halters are designed for general halter play.
The safety break points are only triggered by high loads (approx. 100-160 kg), so they do not affect normal use.
Are the headcollars heavy?
No – HALTER 2.0 is a lightweight halter and typically only weighs approx. 270–390 grams depending on size.
The materials are chosen to provide high comfort without compromising on strength. The foam core in the straps does not absorb water, so the halter remains light in all weather conditions.
