Refund policy

Right of Complaint

A 2-year right of complaint is granted in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. The right of complaint applies to defects in materials and/or manufacturing. You may have the item repaired, exchanged, refunded, or receive a price reduction depending on the specific situation.

The right of complaint does not apply to:

  • Damage caused by incorrect use or handling
  • Normal wear and tear from use

You must submit your complaint within a “reasonable time” after discovering the defect.

Nordic Liberty ApS will cover return shipping costs to a reasonable extent.

We do not accept packages sent cash on delivery.

Important:
There is no right of complaint on safety breakaway points on our stoppers and halters, as these are designed to release during use with the horse.
Refunds

If a refund is required, please include your bank details (registration number and account number) so we can transfer the agreed amount.

This information can safely be shared via email or other electronic communication, as it is not sensitive data and will only be used to process the refund.

Right of Withdrawal (Returns)

You have a 30-day full return policy on items purchased in our webshop.

The period starts from the day you:

  • Receive your order
  • Receive the last item in an order with multiple deliveries
  • Receive the last part of a delivery consisting of multiple parts
  • Receive the first item in case of recurring deliveries

Return shipping costs must be covered by you.

You must notify us of your withdrawal within 30 days of purchase, and return the item within 14 days after notifying us.

You cannot cancel your purchase simply by refusing delivery.

Unclaimed packages will be refunded minus a handling fee of 60 DKK.

Items Exempt from the Right of Withdrawal

The following items are not covered:

  • Custom-made or personalized products
  • Sealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons if unsealed
  • Goods that are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery
  • Goods with broken seals
  • Services that have already been fully performed
  • Digital content once delivery has begun with consent
  • Goods purchased at auction
  • Goods that deteriorate quickly
Return Process
  1. Return your order without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us. You are responsible for return shipping costs and bear the risk until we receive the item.
  2. Pack the item securely and use a return label from our return portal:

  3. Include a copy of your order confirmation and your contact details.
  4. Drop off the package at your nearest parcel shop.

Important:

  • Original packaging (e.g. storage bags) must be returned in intact condition
  • Tags and labels must remain attached
  • Products must not show signs of use, damage, stains, or odors
Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges.

If you want another item, please place a new order and return the unwanted item.

Condition of Returned Items

You are only liable for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and function of the product.

In other words, you may try the item as you would in a physical store.

If the item has been used beyond this, it will be considered used, and you may receive only a partial refund or none at all, depending on its condition.

Reimbursement

If you cancel your purchase, you will receive a refund of the amount paid.

Once we receive your return, it will be processed as soon as possible and no later than 10 business days.

Refunds are made using the same payment method as the original transaction.

You will receive an email confirmation, and the amount will typically appear in your account within 2–7 business days.

If the product or any included accessories have decreased in value, this will be deducted from the refund.

When exercising your right of withdrawal, all payments received from you will be refunded, including standard delivery costs (excluding any additional costs if you chose a more expensive delivery option), no later than 14 days from the date we receive your withdrawal notice.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned item or documentation that it has been sent.
