HALTER 2.0 is Nordic Liberty’s safety halter for horses — developed to deliver safety, balance, and comfort in everyday life without compromising on function or aesthetics.

The halter is an evolution of the HALTER series and has been optimized in every detail. The fit has been fine-tuned, materials and buckles have been upgraded, and the safety system has been further adapted to the horse's size and physique. Everything has been carefully considered with one purpose: to create a stable, comfortable, and safe solution for daily use — whether in the stable, the stall, in the paddock, or during transport.

Safety system with 4 break points

HALTER 2.0 is equipped with four strategically placed break points, designed to give way under pressure during a panic situation. The break points are differentiated by size so that the safety matches the horse's weight rather than being a one-size-fits-all solution. This reduces the risk of injury, especially around the horse's sensitive poll ligaments, without compromising the halter's function or comfort.

Lightweight design and comfort

Comfort has been enhanced through a softer foam core that does not absorb water, combined with an anatomical design that relieves pressure over the poll and the nasal bone. The materials are quick-drying and developed to function optimally in the changing conditions of everyday life.

Durability and modular design

HALTER 2.0 is manufactured with a focus on durability and consideration: improved mesh quality over the nose and poll, woven by a supplier whose production is certified under the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Organic Content Standard (OCS), as well as rust-free aluminum buckles. The modular, replaceable strap system makes it possible to replace individual parts (strap and nose strap) rather than the entire halter — this extends the lifespan, reduces waste, and provides flexibility in both function and appearance.
